Good morning and happy Friday!
I wanted to recognize another employee on our team. Trisha is from the Philippines. She works full-time on our pantry side and is responsible for prep, appetizers, some of our entree dishes, salads and desserts. We are so proud to have her. She is a hard workering young lady. Trisha doesn't have it as easy as most ppl. You see, her world is silent. She was born deaf. It hasn't stopped her though. She pays attention to detail and takes pride in the food that is placed before you. She works well with her team mates; always smiling and laughing.
Trisha is also a cartoon artist. She is always drawing cartoons of her co-workers.
I would like to encourage you if you own a business to consider hiring individuals with disabilities. As you may teach them a new skill, they will teach you as well.
