Hi, it’s been 6 months since we took off our prices and opened our cafe as Post Modern Times. We have served over 30,000 meals with over 2,000 donations. We feel like an over hard egg on the sidewalk without a fork or hot sauce. We knew this wasn’t going to be easy and we have exhausted ourselves, our winters donations our buildings capacity, and at times our neighborhood. We started this as a protest and continued as a promise to keep feeding people with your donations. We lost two beloved former employees this winter Brian and Kait, worked through another international crisis and tried our best to provide comfort for thousands after. Before we are able to re organize and hopefully serve 30,000 more, we are taking some time to rest, fix our constantly breaking infrastructure, and take time to make some system and organizational changes that we feel will help bring us to a more balanced cafe that everyone can enjoy. We have a small re stock of our 69 tears X PMT shirt live on our website. It’s been a hot and Smokey week and we are still FREE! Approaching 6 months of operating without prices for food or beverage. Thanks in no small part to PMT staff, customers and all the people across the world that donated since this winter.

We are no longer a restaurant whose purpose is to pursue profit. What we are attempting to build is more like NPR if it were a neighborhood cafe. We will start to explain this a little better in the next month. Until then we are feeding hungry people, providing jobs in our community and trying not to work ourselves to death.😶‍🌫️ want to contribute?

- house buttermilk or vegan gluten free pancake, with chocolate chips and mint whipped cream, topped with crushed candy cane.

Yucca Rancheros (V., VEG.) * GF
- two eggs or tofu topped with ranchero sauce, served with organic black beans, garlic lime yucca fries, cilantro lime mojo sauce, cabbage, and toast or tortillas.
- Add avocado for $3 and/or pork/tvp chorizo for $4.
