We’re so grateful we had the chance to visit family in Brazil and spend some precious time together. But we have to say… we’re also very happy to be back! 🥰

We’ve missed you and can’t wait to see our friends again!

Juliana, Remi, and I traveled from the U.S. to be with my wonderful 96-year-old mother-in-law.

She is a little frail now. Some days are very good, and other days are not so good. But we are having such a special time with her and enjoying every moment we can.

She has always encouraged me to be a better person and has taught me so many things throughout the years. She has been like a mother to me, and I am so grateful for her.

She is organized, focused, loving, and an excellent cook, even though she never really liked cooking! 😁

And I can say with all my heart: thanks to her, today I am Chef Silvia Boff. 💕

I am so thankful that we could make this trip and be by her side. These are moments we will always treasure. ❤️

❤️ A little family time

Dear friends,

Brazilian Table will be closed from Sunday, September 20 through Monday, September 28.

No matter what is happening around us, our family will always be our priority. Right now, there is someone in our family we want and need to be close to.

🌟 WE HAD A VERY SPECIAL VISITOR THIS WEEK! 🌟

A very important guest from a galaxy far, far away stopped by Brazilian Table… and yes, you guessed it — Crumbs from Star Wars! 👽✨

Chef Silvia had the honor of cooking for him during his FIRST EVER Brazilian food experience! 🇧🇷❤️

The menu?
🥩 Beef & yuca croquette
🧀 Pão de queijo
🍗 Coxinha

And because we believe in giving our guests the full Brazilian experience, Crumbs also got a very important lesson from Chef Silvia: how to use a knife and fork! 😂🔪🍴

We’re happy to report that he survived the lesson, enjoyed the food, and apparently has excellent taste! 😋

A HUGE thank you to Jessica for bringing Crumbs over for his Brazilian adventure. We hope this is just the beginning of his love affair with Brazilian food! 🇧🇷💚💛
