Bootstrap Compost Slaying waste throughout Greater Boston, the Merrimack Valley, Rhode Island & Hudson, NY! The cost: $11 for weekly service and $15 for biweekly service.

Here's how it works: Bootstrap provides households with a 5-gallon bucket. Over a week or two, clients fill it with coffee grounds, egg shells, meat, tea bags, veggie matter — you name it. On your designated service day, leave the bucket on your doorstep; Bootstrap will pick it up and leave you with a fully cleaned and sanitized bucket, lid and compostable liner.
