This week marks three years since we opened the doors to our storefront, and we are sitting here overwhelmed with pure gratitude.

When I first started baking, I had a vision of sharing love through artisanal treats. But you all turned this bakery into a community. From those of you who set your alarms for our morning danishes, to our incredible Chic Sweets Bakery Society subscribers, to everyone who swings by for a curated pastry box during the Golden Hour rush—you are the heartbeat of this business.
Taking care of a business (and everything else life throws our way!) takes a village, and I am so incredibly blessed that you are my village. Thank you for buying the cookbook, sharing our posts, trusting us with your celebrations, and choosing us for your everyday elevated moments.

As Mother’s Day approaches, I’m feeling a mix of gratitude and reflection.

My mom is a much older now, and it’s made time feel more precious—every call, every hug, every moment matters more. I’m trying to slow down, be present, and not take the ordinary for granted.

I also know this day isn’t the same for everyone. It can bring joy, or grief, or something in between. Wherever you are in it, I see you.

If you can, take a small moment to give care—whether to someone you love or to yourself. And if your mom is still here, maybe linger a little longer.
