Welcome to Grounds for Good, our monthly project at Mocha Lounge Dupont. Each month we spotlight one of our baristas, their go-to drink, and an organization they care about. For every order of their drink sold during the run, a percentage of the sale goes directly to their chosen cause.

Thank you all for showing your support last round, whether you stopped in and ordered Rachel’s drink, or shared our posts to let other’s know about Grounds for Good. We are grateful and so lucky to do this with you all!

This round we’re featuring Natalie! Natalie has been with Mocha Lounge DuPont for about two years. When not at work, she double lives as a popstar, releasing her own music and tearing it up on the dance studio floor. She would like to take the opportunity to advocate for the rights, education, and dignity of women and girls in Afghanistan, because “no one is free until everyone is free” - Fannie Lou Hamer.

Natalie’s drink of choice is a Pumpkin Patch White Mocha —
smooth espresso sweetened with white mocha powder and rich pumpkin sauce.

Natalie’s chosen cause this round is Women for Afghan Women (WAW), a grassroots organization empowering Afghan women and girls in both Afghanistan and the U.S. to realize their full potential and advocate for their rights, while challenging societal norms to create lasting change and advance gender equality.

We’re looking forward to helping our community show up for Natalie and those who are positively impacted by Women for Afghan Women (WAW).
