That’s where your free welcome pint comes in - one pint from our Pint Freezer, in your choice of flavor! You can pick up your welcome pint starting now, or anytime through the first Pint Club pickup (which ends October 31st).

What flavor will you pick? Here’s the inside scoop on Pint Club, our new seasonal subscription running October 2026 - March 2027! 🍨

Membership starts off with a free welcome pint of your choosing - pick out any existing pint flavor out of our pint freezer on your next visit before October 31st (and show us your order confirmation letter).

Then, you’re in for a treat every month - well, two treats! On the 25th of each month, you will receive an email announcing the two Pint Club flavors for that month - never-before-made Sweet Science Ice Cream flavors, all-natural and gluten-free. Your two pints will be ready to pick up at the Edina scoop shop from the 25th through the end of the month! (We’ll schedule extra pickup time in November and December due to the holidays.)

Every week we’ll ask our scoopers a few fun questions. This week, let’s hear from Carmen, who has been scooping with us since March!

❤️ Favorite Sweet Science flavor of all time: Berry Crumble (BC), a year-round Seasonal flavor! This one is a favorite for many.

🛍️ A fun customer experience: A customer came in, and kept going back to grab pints until he had enough for at least 3 bags full. I joked and asked if he needed a bag. It was a hilarious interaction!

🍫 Best sundae toppings: The best toppings have to be the fudgy brownies, hot fudge, and toasted marshmallow fluff.

🥹 My favorite thing about working at Sweet Science Edina is seeing all the cute babies, and the dogs out the window.

Fifteen years ago I was making ice cream in tiny batches, five pints at a time and hoping people would show up. And you did. You keep showing up, and I don’t take a single day of that for granted.

Some of my favorite memories are from the earliest days, standing at tastings, watching people light up over a spoonful of something I’d made. That’s actually how I met my husband. He was a regular at those tastings for three years before we ever went on a date and is now my biggest supporter. I think that says a lot about what this has always been for me. I started an ice cream business because I loved ice cream, but soon it was so much bigger. Creating community and bringing people together to experience amazing flavors and share in moments of joy.

Fifteen years in, I want Sweet Science Ice Cream to be a place that brings people together and gives them something good to feel. I want to give great people good jobs and build something worth being proud of. And more than anything, I want to be a force for positivity and joy in this world.

Thank you for being part of it. For every scoop, every birthday cake, every pint you took home to someone you love. You’ve made this whole thing possible, and you’ve made it so, so joyful.

Here’s to fifteen years, and to whatever comes next!

Tomorrow. Something big for 15 years. 🥳

On Saturday, August 22nd, we are celebrating our 15-year anniversary of Sweet Science Ice Cream at our Edina scoop shop. Lots of fun will be had, and someone very special has been invited…

Tiramisu is making its comeback! One of the original 11 flavors that Ashlee launched Sweet Science with, Tiramisu will be returning for the first time in scoops and pints in honor of our anniversary. We’re so excited to share this flavor with you! 🍨

A mascarpone base with coffee and brandy notes. It’s perfectly tiramisu in flavor, but that’s not all! We add espresso-brandy-soaked (GF) ladyfinger cake bites and a cocoa ripple. It was so much fun to recreate this flavor for you 15 years later. We hope we get to spend another 15 doing what we love for you all!

One of our favorite parts about making and scooping ice cream is the joy it brings. ❤️ We love being a part of that joyful moment - whether it’s discovering a new favorite with a sample, or coming back for a scoop of your all-time favorite.

You, our wonderful community, bring so much joy to us, too! It surprises some people how many regular customers there are at an ice cream shop… We have loved getting to know you all, and the family and friends you bring with you, over the last 15 years.

Thanks for showing up for tasting events, following us from location to location, supporting our products at other retailers, and always coming in to get a scoop. Keep on crafting sundae masterpieces, ordering “the usual,” coming in on Flavor Launch to try the new flavors, making friends in line, and being our favorite familiar faces to see and scoop for. 🥰

Today, we’re scooping the closest we have to one of our original flavors for our celebratory Anniversary Scoop - Summer Strawberry Sorbet! While the original flavor on the menu in August 2011 was Strawberry Buttermilk, Summer Strawberry Sorbet (S2S) also hits that end-of-summer sweet spot.
