Snicker Doodle had the highest rankings among our scoopers! The texture of the caramel, peanuts and chocolate in our brown sugar-cinnamon ice cream is delightful. 🥜🍫

Cinnamon Roll comes in at a close second with our team! Whether your favorite part is the cozy cinnamon ice cream, rich cream cheese frosting swirl, or gluten-free cinnamon roll pieces, there’s lots to love in this flavor. 🤎

Pumpkin Pepita Brittle was ranked 3rd overall by our scoopers. This one has a beautiful bright orange color from the pumpkins we use, and looks great with Black Sesame for a Halloween combo! 🎃

Black Sesame ranked 4th overall - but, we had two scoopers rank it as their second favorite! We’ve been loving scooping for all the Black Sesame fans, and sampling to all curious about this delicious, unique flavor 🖤

🤎 Flavor Spotlight: Cinnamon Roll (CR) 🤎

Long before founding Sweet Science Ice Cream, Ashlee was one of the founders of Black Sheep Coffee Cafe - where she ran the kitchen and developed the recipes. She created all of the opening baked goods, and was in that kitchen at 4:30am each morning making them, including cinnamon rolls! ☕️

This flavor is a little love letter to those early mornings. Today, at our St. Paul kitchen, we bake the gluten-free cinnamon roll pieces from scratch in our rack oven, then fold them into rich cinnamon ice cream with ribbons of cream cheese frosting. All the comfort of a cinnamon roll, fresh out of the oven, but in a scoop! 🍨

This gluten-free flavor is scooping now at the Edina shop and in pints, until our November Flavor Launch on 11/6! Hope to see you soon ❤️

⭐️ This Week in the Pint Freezer ⭐️

We wanted to give a little pint freezer highlight after launching our October Flavors! Colder nights are on the way - and the pint freezer is your spot for taking a treat home, especially if it’s too cold to sit outside with a cone. 🍨 (This weekend is looking super warm, though - we hope you’ll come see us for a scoop!)

Our October Seasonals are ready for you on the third shelf, starting on the left side of the freezer and going across through all four flavors! 🧡🖤

Milk and Cookies (MC), one of our revolving flavors that started in October, is nearby, above Pumpkin Pepita Brittle (PPB), on the left side of the second shelf. 🍪

After getting down the third shelf to Cinnamon Roll (CR), you’ll find what’s left of pints of our September Seasonals and any Revolvings that left in past months, like Rhubarb Cinnamon Almond (RhCA) ❤️ These are located all the way to the right side of the third shelf.

These can go quickly, so get them while you can!

Back to the left side, on the fourth shelf you’ll find all our non-dairy/vegan options! They are organized alphabetically with sorbets first and vegan ice creams second. Make sure you get all the way to the end to find our Vegan Revolving flavor starting in October - Vegan Cashew Caramel (VCC)!

Plus, Revolving Vegan flavors that left at the end of September are here too, Pineapple Passion Fruit Mango (P2MS) and Vegan Mocha Almond (VMA). 🍨

Last but not least, our jars of sauces and marshmallow fluff have moved down to the fourth shelf on the left side, and all our pouches of take-home toppings are along the bottom shelf - yum! Don’t worry, Puppy Paws are there too! 🐶

Happy October Flavor Launch Friday! Your fall favorites are back with cozy, crunchy, nutty flavors. We’re so excited to start scooping these for you! 🧡

🎃 Pumpkin Pepita Brittle (PPB): Local pie pumpkins with brown sugar, honey and a hint of brown butter. Nicely balanced with pumpkin seed brittle for salt and crunch. GLUTEN-FREE

September is a crowd-pleaser with some all-time favorite seasonals, and it’s a bummer to see them go for this year. But, October Flavor Launch Friday is coming up - this Friday, October 2nd! More exciting flavors are coming your way 🎃

On the Revolving menu, we have a few flavors finishing their runs this month. Pineapple Passion Fruit Mango Sorbet (P2MS), Rhubarb Cinnamon Almond (RhCA), and Vegan Mocha Almond (VMA) will be heading out before Flavor Launch Friday.

This is the last of it, friends.

Pint Club closes for the season on Wednesday, September 30 at 11:59pm, and then that’s a wrap. We’re not opening it back up mid-season, so this really is the window.

If you’ve been thinking about it, here’s what you’d be saying yes to: two brand new flavors every month from October through March, the kind we’ve never made before and won’t make again. These are the flavors you invite friends over to open, or hold onto until your spouse gets home or the kids are around, because tasting something for the first time is better together. ❤️ A free welcome pint to enjoy whenever the mood strikes, and a front-row seat to the most creative ice cream we make all year. A little something to look forward to all through the cold months.

✨Scooper Spotlight✨

Every week this summer, we’ve been asking our scoopers a few fun questions. For the last Scooper Spotlight of 2026, we’ve got Claire S. in the spotlight! Claire is the last of the scoopers who joined us in April.

💚 All-time favorite Sweet Science flavor: Vanilla Mint Fudge (VMF), one of our year-round Signature flavors. My favorite September seasonal flavor is Oatmeal Cookie (OC).

❤️ Favorite thing about working at Sweet Science Edina: Getting to meet so many new people, and hopefully making customers’ days a little bit better!

🍨 My order at the shop right now: If I came into the shop, I’d get a split single in a waffle cone with Caramel Apple C***r Crisp (CaCc) and Oatmeal Cookie (OC) with torched marshmallow fluff on top!

Celebrate this weekend with sprinkletheicecreamtruck 🎉

Sprinkle will be at the Day of the Transgender Child event hosted by Transforming Families on Saturday, September 26th, from 12-4pm at Loring Park in Minneapolis! There will be lots to see - speakers, lawn games, activities, pop-ups and more.

It’s also Sprinkle’s last event of her first full summer season. Come get some ice cream one more time before the truck goes away for the winter!

Are you a Pint Club member? Here’s all the details for pickups! 🎉

Beginning in October, Pint Club members will receive an email on the 25th of each month letting you know your pints are ready for pickup! Come to the Edina Scoop Shop by the end of the month. (Pickups for November & December will begin on the 20th to give you more time around the holidays).

If you haven’t picked up your welcome pint yet, you may do that at your October pickup (or anytime before). We can’t wait to start this flavor adventure with you! ❤️
