Last week we had one of those dining experiences that reminds you why hospitality matters so much.
Dinner at Daniel in New York City was exceptional from start to finish. The food was, of course, world-class, beautifully executed, thoughtful, and memorable. But what truly stood out was the hospitality.
Our captain, Mynor, was outstanding. Professional, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. We spoke about our kids love for soccer as if we were the only ones in that amazing room. The level of care and attention never felt scripted; it felt authentic.
One of the highlights of the night was having the opportunity to meet Chef Daniel and spend a few moments picking his brain. Hearing his thoughts on food, hospitality, and the pursuit of excellence was inspiring. It’s always fascinating to see how much intention and passion sit behind a restaurant operating at that level.
Great restaurants serve great food. Truly special restaurants make you feel something. DANIEL delivered both. Grateful for an unforgettable evening and for the reminder that hospitality, when done at the highest level, is one of the most powerful forms of human connection.
Thank you to the entire team for a night we’ll be talking about for a long time.
