Breakfast isn’t our norm, but it will be for one day only! ☕️

We’re more than hyped to be teaming up with Community Matters Cafe on Monday, July 20th. Not only are we serving breakfast from 7 AM to 2 PM, but we’re ALSO giving you a sneak peek preview of select dishes from Emmy Lou’s’s upcoming brunch menu. We’re sending Chefs Andres Kaifer and Adriana “Dre” Cavazos to join Chef .johnson in the kitchen, and for our teams, saying “yes” to this collab was a no-brainer.

“Collaborating with people and concepts doing meaningful work is what keeps Charlotte’s food scene moving forward, and we’re just glad to be a small part of it,” said Chef Andres.

Together, the chefs have created a special menu that blends each concepts signature flavors with intention of furthering Community Matters Cafe’s mission of helping Charlotte Rescue Mission graduates build life skills and thrive. Reservations aren’t required, but we’d highly recommend saving yourself a seat.

On Wednesday, July 1st, we’re taking over The Wine Vault Elizabeth ‘s back porch as your fave burger in town meets some of Napa Valley’s top pours!

🍔 The Burger: Double 100% Wagyu, American cheese, housemade sauce, shredded lettuce, and caramelized onions.
🍷 The Wine: A tasting of Darioush Winery ‘s estate: Chardonnay, Viognier, Shiraz, Caravan blend, and Cabernet Franc.

Our doors will be closed starting June 30th while the team takes a well-deserved summer break. We’ll be back like we never left on Tuesday, July 14th.

In the meantime, the fam at Emmy Lou’s is keeping the wine flowing. Swing by tonight, June 24th, at 5pm as they bring France to Dilworth for a menu takeover. If you can’t make it, stop by another time as they host wine tastings on the regular. 🍷

Grateful for an industry that comes together to support our own. 🤍

We had the honor of participating in ‘s 3rd Annual Charlotte Family Meal on Monday and we’re pleased to support their vital work showing up for food service workers when they need it most.

Huge shoutout to our own Chef , Chef , and Chef for representing Customshop and Emmy Lou’s, while cooking alongside some of our favorite neighbors in the Charlotte culinary community.

“I think day-to-day ex*****on from back to the front of the house has to have this symbiotic relationship that when people come in the door, they feel welcomed and when people [leave], they feel like they were treated with respect and, ultimately, they felt great in that establishment.”

When spoke about customer loyalty on ‘s Cuttin’ Thru podcast, he wasn’t only talking about hospitality, he was also speaking about the soul of a kitchen. That “feeling” a guest has at their table is a direct result of the discipline they may never see.
