I finally get to sit…after eighty plus hours on my feet this week, a chair can be melted into. The body is beaten. Synapses are firing at half capacity. Nothing is real. Yet somehow I’ve never felt more alive and confident in what I’ve been doing since this all began six years ago.
While I’m still trying to comprehend and figure out what’s actually happened since Tuesday, I can say with absolute certainty that you all showed up. Big. Anniversary Week has become so much more than I could have ever expected. It’s become more than just a collection of good beer. It’s become a gathering of community. Of friends near and far. I never imagined that this endeavor would be able to facilitate so many connections over a simple beverage, but here we are and I couldn’t be more proud.
I know I’m mainly a one man show on an everyday basis, but even I have my limits. This week would not have been possible in the slightest without the amazing support from Taylor, Carolina, and Emilie. No amount of thank you’s can properly convey how much I appreciate y’all. To say we rocked it would be an understatement. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
And now, as I sit and watch soft white flakes erratically float through the ever chilling air, I can truly reflect upon everything that has transpired. Your constant ongoing support has meant the world to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for every single one of you. Thank you for everything, let’s do six more.
Much love.
