•
regulars. by whatever metric you use to define the term, we’ve got them. those that we know their story, their family. those that are now friends, which can’t de defined or limited to our 4 walls
•
7+ years ago, we set out with a loose vision to create a neighborhood restaurant centered around 3 things: natural wine; seasonal, approachable food; and connection. Reflecting back, we can say we’ve never wavered.
•
as we sit here now, we look back with extreme pride at it all: the people we’ve met, the relationships we’ve built, the food we’ve served, the wine we’ve poured. an ever-changing 32 seat restaurant on a quiet corner has never been about the money; it can’t be. but we’d like to think we’ll leave a lasting memory of what we all created.
•
with that (given the context clues), we’ve chosen not to renew our lease. there are so many words we could say to the “why” of it all, and they’ll likely come at some point. for now, it’s simply “we’re tired.” we’ve given a whole heck of a lot to this place. and our lives have changed so much over the past 7+ years.
•
sometime around 12/31 will be our final service. join us one last time at this place we’ve loved so much. we’ll cheers to it all.
