A surprise wedding at Café Alma? We’re FALLing in love.

On July 25, Isaac & Genáe Colyer gathered a small group of family and friends on our patio for what everyone thought was an engagement celebration 💍 and then surprised them with a wedding!

What made it even sweeter: Café Alma has already been part of so many chapters in their story, from first dates to birthdays, milestones, and plenty of meals in between.

We’re so honored that one more very special memory now lives here, too!

Café Alma + Sweet Butter Bakery are looking for an experienced Bakery Manager to help lead the next chapter of our growing bakery operations — from challah and bagels to babka, rugelach, pastries and more.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a bakery, loves the craft, and is excited to help us grow something special. This is a full-time role with weekend availability required and attractive pay for the right person.

The temps haven’t gotten the memo that fall is upon us in Cincy, but our menu sure has! 🍂 Three new sips for fall, including an Apple & Honey Chaider that’s our way of saying Shana Tova (Happy New Year) to you 🍎🍯. Pumpkin Caramel Latte and a Maple Spiced Appletini are also in full fall fashion (scroll to see the full menu).

Our patio’s staying open through early October, sweater weather optional — we’ll even have our sukkah out there later this month! These sips are here through the entire fall season, we can’t wait to serve you soon!

Is it just us, or does it feel like summer markets just started? 🍁 With fall right around the corner, we’re savoring these last golden days outdoors. This is one of our favorite community events, so come join us this Sunday, August 30th (10am–2pm) at the Mayerson JCC Fall Market in the JCC parking lot! Round challahs and festive pastries, baked fresh by Sweet Butter Bakery and certified Cincinnati Kosher. Complete holiday meals and Break the Fast bagel spreads through Café Alma, certified by the International Kosher Council.

📍 Rosh Hashanah pickup: Friday, Sept 11, 1-3pm at Pleasant Ridge, the Rec, or the JCC
