Duet Day is finally here!

For those who don’t know, this event was created to help raise awareness and funds for research for our daughter Duet, who is living with BPAN, a rare neurological condition that may shorten her lifespan.

Every ticket purchased, every donation, and every person who shows up helps bring us one step closer to better treatments and, hopefully, a cure.

The third annual Duet Day is finally here!

Tonight, music, community, and purpose come together at The Commons Chico for a night that means more to our family than we could ever fully put into words.

What started as a way to celebrate our daughter Duet has grown into something beautiful, a community coming together in support of BPAN research, hope for families facing neurological disease, and awareness for cognitive decline across generations.

We’re incredibly excited to spend tonight with all of you alongside Mystic Roots, Triple Tree, Top Shelf, Lake Anthony Music, Stay Positive Sound, local vendors, food, a silent auction, and an acoustic guitar giveaway for attendees.

Doors open at 5 PM. Tickets are available at the door for $25.

Today, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. We hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend surrounded by good people, good food, and time together.

Mystic Roots, Triple Tree, Top Shelf, Lake Anthony Music, Stay Positive Sound, and more are coming together for a night of live music supporting BPAN research and cognitive decline awareness across generations.

Today from 4-8 PM, we’re proud to welcome Chico Housing Action Team to The Commons for their Music for Mental Health Benefit Concert.

This family-friendly event directly supports Everhart Village, a 20-cabin supportive shelter community here in Chico that provides stability, resources, and a pathway toward long-term housing for individuals facing severe mental health challenges and housing instability. Live music kicks off this afternoon with sets throughout the night, and The Commons will donate 10% of all food and beverage sales during the event.

Bring the family, grab some food and drinks, support a great cause, and help spread awareness around mental health and housing solutions in our community.

Free admission. All ages welcome.

Tonight’s the night. Kash'd Out makes their debut stop at The Commons, and they’re bringing the Lot 49 crew out with them.

Kash’d Out has been grinding hard for years, building a strong following through nonstop touring and a live show that’s helped land them on stages with bands like Pepper, Less Than Jake, Collie Buddz, Iration, and The Expendables. Their sound blends reggae, rock, sharp guitar work, and honest songwriting without feeling overproduced or forced. They’ve got the kind of catalog that feels just as good posted up on the patio with friends as it does packed into a crowd singing along.

They’re rolling through Chico tonight after wrapping up at Cali Roots last night, and we’re fired up to finally have them on the Sweet Flower Stage. 🤙

Memorial Day weekend is here, and we’re wishing everyone a safe, fun, and relaxing weekend with family and friends. If you’re staying local, we’ve got a full lineup of live music and community events happening all weekend long at The Commons.

Tonight, Southern Edge takes over the Sweet Flower Stage starting at 8 PM for a free night of live music and good times.

Tomorrow night, Kash'd Out rolls through Chico after performing at Cali Roots this weekend, with Lot 49 kicking things off at 8 PM. If you couldn’t make it down to Cali Roots this year, we’re bringing a little bit of that energy back to Chico for the night.

Then on Sunday from 4-8 PM, we’re honored to host Chico Housing Action Team's Music for Mental Health Benefit Concert. A family-friendly afternoon focused on community, connection, live music, vendors, and supporting mental health and housing resources here in our community.

Every event this weekend is free, and all ages are welcome.

It’s going to be a warm one, so drink your water, throw on the sunscreen, and come spend Memorial Day weekend with us.

Sol Horizon is bringing their Bob Marley Tribute back to Chico to take over the Sweet Flower Stage on Friday, July 24th, at 8 PM!

They’re coming back with the full crew, horns, background vocals, and a set stacked with all the Bob Marley classics.

Sol Horizon has been Sonoma County's premier reggae band for over 25 years and voted "Best Band" in 2022 & 2023 by readers of the North Bay Bohemian and 9-time winners of the North Bay Music Award (NorBay) for "Best Reggae Band."

We've got another solid week of events on deck. Here's what's happening at The Commons this week:

👉 Wednesday, 5/20 - All-Ages Karaoke kicks off at 6 PM.
👉 Thursday, 5/21 - Trivia Night with Trivia Out Loud is back, and we're pushing the start back just a tiny bit for those warm summer nights. Trivia will still be every other Thursday, but we'll be running from 7:30-9:30 until further notice.
👉 Friday, 5/22 - Live music with Southern Edge from 7-9 PM.
👉 Saturday, 5/23 - We're stoked to welcome out Kash'd Out for their debut on the Sweet Flower Stage, and they're bringing back the Lot 49 crew.
👉 Sunday, 5/24 - Chico Housing Action Team is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month with their special Music for Mental Health Free Benefit Concert from 4-8 PM.
