Yesterday afternoon someone took off with Mak’s phone after she accidentally left it out front after taking a photo of some customers. It’s been a very busy Gold Cup weekend for us, and yesterday she did the sales of nearly 3 bartenders in one shift by herself. So for someone to take her phone after that, and then turn it off - it seems pretty intentional. 😡

We’ve been reviewing camera footage, but we’d like the people we think did it to please return it to us. If you took it - we ask that you please just bring it back no questions asked. Just return it.

Mak has years of photos of her children on there, that are not backed up to an iCloud due to her memory storage being too full. It’s an iPhone 13 with planet stickers on the back.

Please do the right thing - we don’t take kindly to people stealing from our Mak! You can also DM us if you have info on the thieves identity.

On August 8, at Bedrock Park in Oroville, Joshua Griffiths Dickey was senselessly shot and killed. He leaves behind his loving wife, Juliann, and their four children - who meant everything to him.

The heartbreaking loss of Josh is felt gravely by so many. Josh was a kind-hearted working class man who loved his family, just like many of our customers. This makes no sense, and he deserves justice!!

Oroville Police Department hasn’t publicly identified any suspects after nearly 20 grueling days. Someone HAS to know something.

We share this because we love Juliann, as our former long time employee, and friend. Not only did Juliann work for us, but her and Josh continued to frequent our place as our customers and friends. The family NEEDS answers. This county is too small, someone knows something. Please share this post, and keep the story alive and on people’s radars. 🙏🏼
