Ever wonder what “straight from the farmers market” actually looks like? This is the Pilgrim at Farm Star Pizza in Chico, California.

Saturday morning, Tim shops the Chico Certified Farmers Market downtown. Kale from Saeturn Farms in Gridley, butternut squash from the market, picked up from the farmers who grew them.

That afternoon, it all comes back to the kitchen. Scratch-made dough, stretched by hand, and built into our fall seasonal pizza:

🧄 Roasted garlic sauce + garlic oil on the crust
🧀 Mozzarella + goat cheese
🥬 Saeturn Farms kale
🎃 Butternut squash, roasted with sage
🧅 Caramelized onions
🌿 Fresh parsley pistou to finish
