Have you had your Boudreaux this week? The Boudreaux is our house made cajun boudin (the only in the city), hot sauce, scallion, baked egg, provolone & a bagel. A weekly Boudreaux will cure at least 15% of what ails you......just saying. Boudreaux is one of many names with that eaux ending in Southern Louisiana.....like Robicheaux, Babineaux, Thibodeaux, Comeaux, Arceneaux, Breaux, Desormeaux, Meaux, Primeaux, Simoneaux. Can you name some other eaux ending names?

has created something beautiful for us to pair with our Thursday Community Supper series. These postcards are available for sale and 100% of the proceeds will go to local food pantries each month along with any proceeds from the Thursday dinners. Tomorrow night is the last night for chili & cornbread. June's meal will be pesto pasta with veggies & chicken with a GF/ vegan option available.

Its patio time!! Many thanks as always to for letting us use the space in front of their restaurant for patio season. Over the years city infrastructure has bit by bit chipped away any ability for us to have our own patio in front of Spoken Cafe, but this will do just fine plus we get a big ole Ginko tree for shade right in the middle of the patio!!

Delicious things abound at Spoken Cafe today! First week of new menu went really well for all. Very smooth transition. The text got clipped from the cake video but made us a CHOCOLATE PISTACHIO W/ HONEY ORANGE CANDIED PISTACHIO CAKE from her Love Spoken Here project.

Also did you know: 1. You can now have our delicious Gumbo anytime you like & 2. The Spoken Muffaletta is available everyday and grab n go so there's no wait at all!

Today is Mr. Will & Mrs. Sido's 11th anniversary!! 18 years together (technically 28 years with a momentary 8 year hiatus). We'll be here all weekend doing the thing we love. Sharing food with people we care about. Stop on by and say hi!!
