A longtime favorite, Hub’s in Chicago achieved national acclaim when we were featured by Saturday Night Live in the two "You like-a da juice, ah?" sketches in 1993. Thrilled to see the catchphrase “You like-a the juice, eh?” from the sketches “Hub’s Gyros” and “The Journey For More Juice” included in The New York Times article “50 Things We Say Now, Thanks to ‘S.N.L.’” (January 31, 2025). Proud of the enduring legacy of these sketches and catchphrase inspired by our nearly 50-year old restaurant, Hub’s in Chicago, and Hub’s founder John Thanoukos.
