Our friends at the Champaign County Humane Society are in need of cat and kitten food donations for their pet pantry! If You want to donate but can’t make it there, bring your donation to us and we will happily deliver it!
Right NOW, cats in Champaign County need your help! There's a shortage of cat food in our Pet Food Pantry and the need is still great.
Our Pet Food Pantry provides pet owners with emergency pet supplies when times get tough. It is stocked with donated pet food dropped off by our friends and supporters. We currently need cat food for a variety of ages and specialty diets, meaning that even the kitten food your cat grew out of - or the new diet they snubbed – will help cats in need.
If you’d like to help stock the pantry, we could use:
-Unopened dry pet food
-Opened dry food in its original packaging
-Sealed/canned pet food
We recognize that when the community need is high, fewer people may be able to give. Every “Share” of this post, or word of encouragement in the comments, helps more than you know. If you aren't able to send cat food this week, please consider reposting or telling a friend about the need.
In-kind donations can be dropped off at the shelter’s front desk during our open hours, Saturday-Sunday 12 PM - 5 PM, and Monday, or Wednesday-Friday 2 PM - 7 PM. If it's easier, you can also ship or deliver contributions directly from any retailer to the shelter's address in Champaign.
