Always a special evening with City Harvest ❤️

After cooking at BID last year, it was wonderful to return as a guest and experience the incredible work of my fellow chefs from the other side.

Being part of City Harvest’s Food Council makes this cause even closer to my heart.

I encourage everyone to get involved. Donate, volunteer, spread the word. Every little bit makes a difference, and together we can do something much bigger than ourselves.

New on our fall menu at Lore. 🍂🍁

Vegan lasagna with cauliflower, spinach, Swiss chard and mushrooms. No dairy, no shortcuts, just thoughtful cooking, interesting ingredients and elevated flavors.

It might not be something you’d normally order, but I know you’ll be pleasantly surprised. That’s what I enjoy most about cooking, creating something unexpected that people genuinely love.

A cocktail at Lore is never just a cocktail.

The same thought and care we put into every dish goes into what’s in your glass. There’s a lot of research, tasting, experimenting and adjusting until we find the right balance of flavors and, most importantly, how those flavors work with the food.

For me, the cocktail and the dish should speak to each other. One shouldn’t overpower the other. When that balance is right, it changes the entire experience at the table.

Our new cocktail program is built around exactly that. New flavors, new pairings, and a lot of playing around until everything feels just right.

Food and watches have always shared something important to me: the people.

I’m thankful that Lore and Folk have both become more than just places to dine. They’re places where friendships form, stories are shared, and communities come together. From Talking Watches with hodinkee to being part of Gotham Watch Club and the incredible community of collectors and enthusiasts I’ve met along the way, watches have brought so many great people into my life.

The stories behind food and watches are what tie it all together for me. They give us a reason to sit down, connect, and share something we love.

Thank you Vogue for including me in this piece alongside some wonderful NYC chefs and for letting me talk about something so simple that brings me so much joy.

I’ve always loved going to the farmers market without too much of a plan. Walk around, see what looks good, talk to people, and let dinner figure itself out from there
