A year ago today, we were handed the keys to a place thatβs been an Iron Range tradition for more than 50 years.
The Wooden Table has a long history as a community gathering place β with stories and memories of friendships made, birthdays, first dates, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, celebrations of life, hunting and fishing stories, and countless nights catching up with friends over a b**r.
We knew we werenβt starting something new. We were simply stewarding its next chapter and carrying its tradition forward.
And what a first year itβs been.
We introduced Noon Yearβs Eve, watched snowmobiles fill the lot all winter, continued Jam Nights, raffled a whole lot of meat, hosted live music and car shows, welcomed side-by-sides off the trail, threw one hell of a New Owners Party β and served a whole lot of prime rib along the way.
But the best part has been the people.
To our staff who rolled with the changes and worked their tails off, to the regulars who gave the new guys a chance, and to everyone who stopped in, came back, brought their family, told a friend, played some music, bought a round or just pulled up a stool β thank you.
Weβre grateful to be part of The Wooden Tableβs story and excited for what comes next.
One year down. The b**rβs still cold, the prime ribβs still cooking, and weβre just getting started.
