This Memorial Day, we hope everyone has enjoyed the long weekend with family, friends, good food, and a little extra time together. 🇺🇸

But today is more than cookouts and a day off work.
Today, we remember the men and women who gave everything for the freedoms we often take for granted.

To those who never made it home… thank you.
Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

As today marks the last day for Clay Community Schools, we just want to take a minute to say congratulations to the Class of 2026. 🎓

We were honored to have the Clay City High School graduating class join us for lunch yesterday. Seeing all of you together — excited, exhausted, emotional, (hungry!) and probably already mentally checked out for summer — was pretty special. And a shout out to some of the most well behaved teenagers around! You represented your class and your school well! Thank you for letting Pappy’s be a small part of your celebration.

Congratulations to ALL graduates this year. You survived the homework, the group projects, the cafeteria food, and the “this will matter in real life someday” speeches. Whether you’re headed to college, work, trade school, or just figuring it out one day at a time… we’re proud of you!

Also, a reminder that we will be closed Friday (and Saturday), as we celebrate one of our own graduates!

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s Meat. Eat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. As many times as you want for All You Can Eat Wing night!
After tomorrow, we’re closed for the weekend, so…

❗️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT ❗️

Pappy’s will be closed this Friday (22nd) and Saturday (23rd).

Why? Because sometimes your work family becomes actual family… and this weekend, we’ve got TWO big reasons to celebrate. 🎓

Carter is graduating 🎓
Sydney is getting married 💍

One of the things about being a small business with a small staff is that somewhere along the way, coworkers stop feeling like coworkers and start feeling like family. These are the people behind the counter, in the kitchen, running food, staying late, surviving wing nights, and helping keep this place going every single day.

So this weekend, we’re taking time to celebrate some huge life moments with them — and we couldn’t be happier.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support, understanding, and love for not just Pappy’s, but the people behind it.

So make sure you get your Pappy’s fix early this week and if you see Carter or Sydney, feel free to give them your congratulations, best wishes and love ❤️
