The Freeze Ice cream should always be eaten first. The Freeze has been a family owned business since 1954. Our proud owners are Douglas and Carrie Hansel.

It is now owned by the Hansel family, who originate from Greencastle, IN. We are excited to continue the Freeze legacy and hope to bring some spice to your summer cravings.

Greencastle, we've listened. Starting Thursday, the GC Freeze will offer lunch, dinner, and of course, ice cream from 11 am to 8 pm:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Thank you to the breakfast few. We hope to revisit this option in the future.

We look forward to seeing you at the GC Freeze for in-person dining on
Thursday, April 30th at 7 am.

Our hours for the next week or so are:
7 am to 2 pm on
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We'll expand our hours soon. Our goal is to give you the best experience so we'll take our time to ramp up. We want to get this right.

Thank you everyone for such a great turnout! We need to close the GC Freeze Tuesday, April 28th to fix our computer system glitch. We'll reopen on Thursday, April 30th at 7 am.

We're so thankful for your patience and kindness as we work out the kinks.
