Questions about Sunday Pick up/Delivery orders

"Will you sponsor my trip to Hawaii?"
No, sorry! We are excited to help and donate towards Nathan's adventure to the Islands, but he also put in a tremendous amount of work to get himself there.

"Can we order...."
Due to popular request... Some things as a yes.. some things are an, absolutely not.
I am willing to do add ons of:
Mac Salad- $4
Pineapple salsa- $2

"Did you get my order?"
I ended up at the ER with my youngest son yesterday and am just now getting around to messages. But as of right now, at 10am... I have everyone answered. If I didn't answer you, your order is not in. Again, I will only be accepting orders via messenger, and please not to my personal account. This allows me to keep everything in one place.

"Can I just pay you cash day of?"
Also, no. We have been at this catering gig a minute now and unfortunately pre payment is to protect us from buying and preparing food, that no one shows up for.

For starters... We are NOT taking orders yet. Just wanting to start getting the word out...

How lucky are we to get to help with such an awesome adventure! Local Northview football player Nathan Gobel is going to the Tiki Bowl this December! Though we aren't one to take credit for someone else's accomplishments... we did feed him and his family a lot when the restaurant was open. So we like to think we inspired him, just a little 😂😂😂

With that said, we are wanting to help him off set the cost of travel just a bit...
We will be selling Rice Bowls and donating part of our profits to him and his family on July 12th. The Gobel family has also been awesome enough to offer delivery for an additional $5, delivery fees and tips will go directly to the Gobel family.

Official bowls and offerings will be announced Tuesday July 7th at 10a, and will close Friday, July 10 and noon.

My face when I looked back at how many orders you guys have placed for the 4th...

I am beyond grateful you all stick around and still support us. With THAT said, I will be closing orders one day earlier than I originally planned, and they will close Wednesday at noon to allow me time to chase down all the ingredients needed.

I seriously cannot thank you guys enough, and MAYBE this can become more of a regular deal....maybe even the return of the famous rice bowls

Pick up will be July 3rd between noon-4 or July 4th between 9a-noon

Kind of last minute, but while we are making our grocery list for our family 4th of July, I got thinking about our extended ohana we have built over the last few years.

Long time no see!

Though the restaurant has been closed for a little over a year, we still wanted to take a moment to congratulate two of our former employees on their high school graduation!

Lilly and Hayden, we are so proud of you and the rest of the class of 2026.

We have had a LOT of questions, so I wanna take a moment to answer a few...

1. Will the restaurant be reopening?
-no. This is a definite answer. The more we step back, the more we realize we are not in the era of our lives to fully throw ourselves into something like that.

2. Can you set up the food truck?
Also, a definite. No. We no longer have the food truck.

3. Will you be doing any other pop up events?
This one doesn't really have an answer. We really did plan a one and done. We were happy to help out with the event for Kensey. She has been an amazing support person for both of us since the closure of the restaurant. But, the feedback was amazing and very encouraging going forward. But as of right now, we have absolutely no plans to do anything.

4. Will you cater *insert event here*
That was always a Reagan thing. Lei has absolutely no interest at all in catering. And Reagan's family is currently growing! While she is pregnant, that option is off the table. Afterwards, will be a big maybe as she finishes out nursing school.

5. So what are your plans?
So, we really dont have any. We are winging it. We have both found a home working at Pappys for right now and love the atmosphere there. We have discussed the idea, after the fall of re introducing catering, and bulk pan options. But we dont have any laid out plans for that.
