This past weekend, on our way to have some upgrades done to the trailer, we decided to dip into Florida and cook our first ever contest in Lake City, FL. Perfect weather, great neighbors and fun was had all weekend.

We were stoked about our cook(kiss of death..) and closed the lid on 4 solid entries. However, we only heard our name called for 8th place chicken. They were not a fan of my flavor profile but that’s part of bbq and on to the next!

Congratulations to Accutech BBQ on the GC and Kings BBQ on their RGC.
