‼️ATTENTION‼️
We have been waiting to give you an update about our exciting news! As you may know, Gathering Grounds has been closed for a little while. We can finally tell you that we are moving to our new location, The Spot Downtown. We do not have specifics at this time, but ask that you give our future new page a “Like”!!
If you will search for “ The Spot Downtown A Rankin County School District Program” you will find us. Please share our news with your friends and invite them to check us out. Once more details are known, especially about an opening date, we will be sure to let you know. Until then, stay tuned for more updates. We are so happy and can’t wait to see your smiling faces again❤️

Some great photos from the Brandon High School group that attended today! RCSD Students in the Aspire and Strive Programs have made beautiful ornaments that are currently featured in the MISSISSIPPI MAGAZINE!!! You heard right! Handcrafted by Rankin County School District's Special Education Transition Program, this cream Mississippi-shaped ornament features a brown accent of the Mississippi River and a contrasting three-dimensional raised red heart. (3½" x 2¼") Glazes will vary. $18 (includes tax and shipping)

Hello everyone! We have missed you so much and have such an exciting announcement coming soon. In the meantime, let us show you some of what our students have been up to. This year, the Mississippi Magazine has chosen to feature our ornament as its 2021 Christmas ornament. Our programs, Aspire and Strive (formerly Phase 2) are represented well by the students that attend, and we are so proud! Here is the link should you be interested in ordering one today.

Richland High School students worked as a team and learned about assembly lines today. Others worked to identify their needs in the clerical field. Our coffee/art shop offers more than a delicious cup of coffee- it brings opportunities to our fine youth to become competitively employed one day. Stop by to see us! We are open on Monday through Friday from 8 to 2. As always, we appreciate you💕
