A weekend update from Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua 💙

Our region is currently experiencing smoky conditions from wildfires burning north of us in the Boundary Waters. Current forecasts indicate that air quality should begin improving Friday morning and continue clearing throughout the weekend.

At this time, The Jayhawks on Friday and Killer Queen on Saturday will take place as scheduled. We have no plans to cancel either performance.

We are closely monitoring conditions around Mt. Ashwabay and the Big Blue Tent. If anything changes significantly, we will communicate with ticket holders as soon as possible.

We understand that air quality affects everyone differently. Guests who feel they are unable to attend due to the smoke may contact our box office to receive a credit for unused tickets.

The safety of our guests, artists, volunteers, and staff will always come first. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you under the Big Blue Tent this weekend!

Music in the Park tonight is cancelled!❌ And many other outdoor activities and dining areas, like our Deck😕

But because of that our Lounge is serving food tonight! And as usual, our Lakeside Dining Room is serving from 5pm - 9pm.

Due to hazardous smoke conditions, Concerts by the Lake featuring Buffalo Galaxy will not take place tonight.

We know this is disappointing, but the safety of our community comes first. Please take care and stay safe.
