Chef Lee’s Pork Ribs. Barbecue pork ribs are a classic Southern favorite that seem especially right during the dog days of summer. Chef Lee starts with a generous “half rack” of premium pork ribs, slow cooked to lock in flavor. The tender, meaty ribs are topped with our own made-from-scratch barbecue sauce. The sauce is a secret treasured family recipe that was perfected by Louis Squire’s cousin, Roy Johnson, of Atkinson, North Carolina. Our ribs are on the menu this Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy summertime eating at its best!

Refreshing Summer Salads! The dog days of summer have come early this year. Happily, the harvests from Southern farms are bursting with flavor. Our partners in all things fresh, Sherry’s Produce, are providing our skilled salad makers with choice ingredients. Have you tried our Country Fried Chicken yet? If not, you’re missing out on a classic Southern treat. We take a premium boneless eight-ounce breast, pound it thin, batter it by hand, and fry it to golden perfection — the result feels like Sunday dinner on a plate.

The Country Fried Chicken is good on its own, but adding a scoop of creamy sawmill gravy rounds the flavors out even more. Our sawmill gravy is a fitting companion for the fried chicken breast. For a final touch, we sprinkle fresh parsley on top.

It’s a crowd favorite for a reason. Pair it with our house-made sides made with fresh vegetables from Tucker’s own Sherry’s Produce.
