Hey guys, it’s Micah!

As most of you probably know, I’m off to school at UW-Milwaukee, and I wanted to take a second to say thank you.

The past two years at Backyard Brew have meant so much to me. I’ve loved serving you all beers, burning (some) pizzas, getting to know your stories, and being part of all the hilarious memories and random bar moments along the way.

Some of my best friendships came from bartending here, and some of the people I consider my best friends today are people I probably never would have met if it weren’t for this place. That’s something I’ll always be incredibly grateful for.

I’m definitely sad that I won’t be around as much to enjoy all of the events we put on for you all while I’m at school but I’ll do my best to remember everyone’s favorite orders when I’m back behind the bar… I’m not making any promises. 😂

And one more thing… while I’m gone, please be nice to my bartenders. 😂 They have to deal with you guys now, so maybe give them a break every once in a while. I’ll be checking in, and I will hear about it if you’re giving them a hard time. 😉

Seriously though, thank you to everyone who has supported me, gotten to know me, and supported Backyard Brew over these past two years. You’ve all made this place so much more than just a job for me, and it means more than you know.

Tomorrow's the last Thursday Backyard Market & Brews, ever. Moonlight Market, 4pm-10pm, full moon, vendors lit up with string lights and lanterns and Mike Schabow Music Featuring Date Night playing all night. On top of all of that, hiking trails are open to everyone that night, not just the market crowd.

After tomorrow it moves to Sundays, starting Sept 13. VENDORS AND MUSICIANS we want you there too! DM us for a spot!
