Nestled between 615 Waterfront Drive and River House, Kift Square is a vibrant gathering space designed for collaboration, community events, and connecting people to the beauty of the Lehigh River.

A piece of the site's rich industrial heritage remains on display here, featuring an original Lehigh Structural Steel crane run positioned above our signature water feature.

Kift Square offers breathtaking views of the Lehigh River, thoughtfully designed modern landscapes, preserved historical elements, and a glimpse into the exciting future of The Waterfront.

Fun Fact: Kift Square is named after Les Kift, a founder of Lehigh Structural Steel Co.

Last week, we hosted a Summer BBQ Kickoff for our office community at 615 Waterfront Drive. With the sun shining and the Lehigh River as our backdrop, tenants had the opportunity to step away from their desks and enjoy a relaxing afternoon outdoors. ☀️

Lunch was served by You Got Pork'D BBQ, which featured delicious BBQ favorites like pulled pork nachos, brisket platters, and mac and cheese. The cherry on top? Mon & Mel’s Sweet Scoops Ice Cream Truck stopped by to help everyone cool down with a sweet treat!

It was a wonderful afternoon spent enjoying great food and even better company. ✨

: The Tunnel 🏗️

In construction photos, you may have noticed glimpses of a "tunnel" connecting the parking lot for River House to the courtyard. This passage creates a direct, sheltered route through the center of the building, allowing machinery and materials to move efficiently without relying on the perimeter path. This was a key part in getting the courtyard in place, especially for the pool.

The tunnel will soon be closed. Once complete, this space will transition from a key construction corridor into part of the building’s finished design.

: Sweet Scoops at The Waterfront 🍦

The days are getting warmer, and the flowers are beginning to bloom, which means that summer is right around the corner. Last summer, our tenants enjoyed a lunch treat from Mon & Mel’s Sweet Scoops Ice Cream Truck, giving them a reason to step away from their desks and enjoy the sunny skies.

River House From Above ☁️

River House has been constantly changing throughout its construction cycle. Swipe to see an aerial view of the progress and continue reading to learn more about each photo!

Photo 01 (September 2024): The footprint of River House was placed, and the start of stair towers and elevator shafts were underway.

Photo 02 (March 2025): The framing of a couple stories were started, and the west side of the building had yet to take shape.

Photo 03 (September 2025): Roofing conditions were started, rough ins were happening, and many other exciting changes were planned.

Photo 04 (March 2026): On the exterior of the building, HVAC units were placed on the roof, a surface lot was paved, and exterior finishes like brick, siding, and balconies were started to be installed. On the inside, drywall, rough-ins, cabinet and door painting, and more has been underway.

By September 2026, it will look different again with the courtyard and rooftop amenities, residents moved in, and more!
