The semester officially came to a close, and the WDC staff wants to congratulate all of our graduating seniors on this incredible accomplishment! 🎓

Thank you to every student who stopped by for a meal, shared a conversation with our team, participated in events, and helped make the dining hall feel like a community all year long.

Today, we are highlighting our final graduating Java Joe Barista. Say hello to Sonny! 🎓

As a music major, Sonny has found the perfect balance between creativity and academics. She expresses both through vocal performance and music research. Her go-to drink is a cold brew with oat milk when keeping it simple, or a brown sugar shaken espresso when she is in the mood for something more exciting. “Baby Be Mine” by Michael Jackson is her song for getting into barista mode.

Her favorite part of working at Java Joe is the connections she builds. She loves befriending regulars and having meaningful conversations that make the café feel like a true community. You can also find her relaxing on the roof of Fahy Commons when the weather is nice.

Close out your Finals Week by coming to Java Joe to grab your favorite drink and help us celebrate Sonny before graduation! ☕
