I'm Vanessa Baker, an avid paper crafter with classes, projects and tips all using Stampin' Up! Living in a small relocatable house with my partner Brendan.

I've swapped city life to live on 1ha in the countryside near Waiuku. We have big plans for our site but we're happy taking our time. We also like to travel together around NZ in our caravan and have a joint interest in photography. I'm very lucky to be able to do what I LOVE so it doesn't feel like work.

There’s something so special about a cosy little Christmas scene!

Today I’m sharing a card made with the beautiful Neutral Noel Suite from Stampin’ Up!

I’ve been wanting this suite since the catalogue was released. Little houses, wreaths, trees and touches of gold are some of my favourite Christmas elements, so it was right up my alley!

For this design, I’ve combined textured Basic Beige cardstock, gold-patterned paper and a Mossy Meadow die-cut wreath to create the feeling of looking through a leafy window. The little houses and deer finish the scene beautifully, and I love how the sentiment, “from our home to yours”, brings it all together.

I’ve also shared a few tips in my latest video to help you get a better cut with those intricate dies.
