Saturday Dinner 🍽️

When you just don’t feel like cooking on a Saturday night! 😆

Apart from some sweet and sour pork ribs made in my Thermomix and a quick stir-fry of celery (one of the healthiest vegetables around!), everything else was kept as simple as possible — raw wherever we could! 🥬🐟

Codi even specially made me some Chinese-style salt and pepper fried snapper fins from our shop, with that delicious Jiangnan-style flavour. Best of all, I didn’t have to cook them myself! ❤️

The fourth photo features our smoked Granddaddy Hapuka. I’m not usually a fan of smoked fish, but this one is surprisingly tender, delicate and full of flavour. I absolutely love it! 😍

We still have a small quantity available in the shop, so come and give it a try! 👏Sunny ShenCodi Francis

🐚🎨 Don’t Throw Away Your UK King Scallop Shells!

Love our UK King Scallops from Ocean Eats? Here’s a fun idea for what to do with the shells after you’ve enjoyed your seafood!

Give the shells a good clean, let them dry, and turn them into little canvases for your kids to paint! 🎨🌈

With a little imagination and a splash of colour, these beautiful shells can become unique little works of art.

Delicious seafood, creative fun, and a little recycling all in one — what a win-win! 😍👏

Enjoy the scallops, keep the shells, and let the creativity begin! 🐚✨

Smoked salmon fins

Traditionally smoked using fragrant New Zealand mānuka wood for a rich, authentic Kiwi flavour.

Simply seasoned with salt to let the natural flavour of the salmon shine through.

A delicious Kiwi classic, naturally smoky, full of flavour, and beautifully simple.
