This beautiful old building began its life as an 18th century place of community connection as a Post Office before being delivered to its current site here in Sydenham. Now the owners of Hello Sunday, Jamie Moir and Ashleigh Rangi take great pleasure in bringing you this unique and rare building’s latest rebirth, Hello Sunday café. Continuing in its rich history, our café strives to provide great food and coffee to nourish and ultimately bring people together. Enjoy the heart warming feeling of Sunday where we pause, rest and reflect, something you will be able to find all week long.

Our S’mores Bun is made with sweet pastry dough, layered with chocolate spread, mini marshmallows + crushed graham cracker, then topped with fresh blowtorched marshmallow fluff, Whittaker’s chocolate and a graham cracker to finish! 🤎🔥

Spring has officially sprung, and we’re welcoming our newest Bun of the Week: Lemon & Poppy Seed 🍋✨

starting with our signature house-made sweet scroll dough, rolled with a generous layer of zesty lemon curd, crunchy poppy seeds, and finished with a dust of cinnamon sugar!

To top it all off? Our classic Hello Sunday cream cheese icing, a nice dollop of lemon curd right in the center, and a fresh sprinkle of poppy seeds and lemon zest 💛

Customer response? Absolutely insane! everyone’s loved these buns 😍

We start off with our classic sweet scroll dough, topped with a generous spread of frangipane and a little cinnamon, rolled up and baked fresh! We top each bun with cream cheese icing, crushed toasted frangipane, roasted chopped almonds and a generous dusting of icing sugar! 🫶

This has been one of our biggest hits so far and completely sold out in a few hours!
