For the past 5 years, Mariam and Bryan have been part of the Jam family, and we feel so lucky to have shared so many mornings with them, always accompanied by their gorgeous furry cutie Skye. 🐶
Their morning ritual is one we’ve come to know and love a walk along the beach, followed by coffee at Jam.And honestly, seeing them walk through our doors has become a little part of what makes our mornings special.
They absolutely love Jam, and we love having them here. ❤️

We call them our “Latte Couple” because, well… lattes are a very important part of their mornings,
One of our favourite things is watching Mariam scope her coffee from the glass after she finishes her last sip and then hearing her say, “I love it!”
Those little moments mean more to us than you know.
Mariam & Bryan, thank you for choosing Jam, morning after morning, for the past 5 years. Thank you for bringing your smiles, your beautiful Skye, and your love for coffee through our doors.
Here’s to many more beach walks, morning, coffee happy sips and memories together.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Rodney (Rod) as we lovingly knew him. who passed away peacefully at the age of 92. Our heartfelt condolences go to Ann and their family during this incredibly difficult time.
From all of us at Jam Organic Café, we want to take a moment to remember a very special part of our Jam family
Rod and Ann had been coming to Jam for many years, and over time, they became so much more than customers to us. They became family, almost like a mum and dad to our team. We genuinely cared about them, worried when they didn’t come in, and always looked forward to seeing them walk through our doors.
Rod was truly one of a kind. His humour, wit, kindness, cheekiness and loving nature brought so much character to Jam. There are so many little things about him that we will always remember.

His little bag of dog treats in his scooter, because no dog could possibly walk past Rod without getting a treat.
His habit of pinching flowers from gardens and bringing them into Jam to put in our vases. Somehow, our flowers always seemed to become a little more beautiful when Rod was around.
And, of course, his coffee! It had to be extra extra hot and heaven help us if it wasn’t hot enough or took too long to arrive! We all knew about it.

And then there was Rod’s table. ❤️
That little red table became his table. If someone dared to sit there, Rod would look at us and ask, “Why can’t you do your job and keep it for me?”
We would then have to politely convince the unsuspecting customers that perhaps another table would be better because everyone at Jam knew that red table belonged to Rod. Eventually, it became officially known as “Rod’s Table.”
These are the little memories that make us smile through the sadness.
Rod had a beautiful way of making himself part of our everyday lives. He cared about our staff, he cared about Jam, and we cared deeply about him and Ann in return.
Thank you, Rod, for all the laughs, the stories, the flowers, the dog treats, the coffee complaints, the cheeky moments and, most importantly, for the kindness and love you brought into our café.
You were never just a customer.
You were part of the Jam family. ❤️
We will miss seeing you arrive, hearing your stories, making your coffee, and seeing you sitting proudly at Rod’s Table.
Your presence will be missed more than words can say, but your memories will always have a little place at Jam.
Rest peacefully, Rod.
