We're Hiring – Food Preparation Assistant 🌟

Acorn Café is looking for a friendly and reliable Food Preparation Assistant to join our team.

What you'll be doing: 🥪 Preparing sandwiches, paninis, wraps and salads
📦 Assisting with stock orders and daily kitchen tasks
😊 Working as part of a busy and supportive team
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
🕗 Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00am – 3:30pm
Previous food preparation experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.

We’re excited to announce that our Acorn Cafe have officially launched their Easter Egg Donation Initiative! 🐣

Pop into the café and for a minimum £2 donation, you can pick an Easter egg from our donation tree for the chance to win a treat from the café.

A massive thank you to the incredible café team and all their customers for the ongoing support, you make community moments like this possible.

All proceeds go directly to Acorn, helping us provide meaningful work and training opportunities for islanders with a disability or long‑term health condition. Your generosity really does makes a difference.

We were even featured in the Jersey Evening Post, which means so much to us and our community.
