✨ AI – Inspiration or a Challenge?

AI is everywhere these days, including the world of cake decorating. My inspiration for this cake came from an AI-generated image which I got from a client. I have absolutely nothing against AI-inspired cakes – quite the opposite! I see them as an exciting challenge and an opportunity to push my creative boundaries. 🎂

I sometimes use AI myself when I have a very specific idea in mind and want to visualise how the final result might look. But always is But...
However I always understand that the real cake will never be exactly the same as the original image. The diameter and height of the cake also make a big difference to its overall appearance and proportions.

For me, AI is a source of inspiration, but the real creativity begins when I start creating. The final details, little decisions and all the magic happen along the way. And that’s what makes the creative process so special! 🤍✨

And this time, it’s a Biscoff cake for a true Fortnite fan! 🎮🎂

Happy Birthday! 🥳🎉

🌸 Flower Cupcake Bouquets

Sometimes an idea simply doesn’t let you go… 🌿

I first came across these beautiful cupcake bouquets while following an American baker. I was fascinated not only by their beauty, but also by their incredible elegance. And most of all, by the idea that a bouquet like this could become not only a dessert, but also a beautiful alternative to a traditional wedding cake. 🤍

The idea stayed in my head for a long time, until I finally decided to look for courses where I could learn this art a few years ago.

And now I can honestly say — this is not something you can learn quickly. 🌸

Every single petal, every shade of colour and every tiny detail comes together to create a realistic flower. Sometimes you become so immersed in the process that you completely lose track of time… Minutes turn into hours, and hours simply disappear. 🌿

I really wanted to share these bouquets with you. They have already become a beautiful trend in Australia, America and the UK, and are now being discovered in more and more places around the world.

I know I’m certainly not the only one creating them in Ireland but I feel that this is becoming my little passion for flowers, colours and details. 🌷

And the most beautiful part?

Even when you try, it is rarely possible to recreate exactly the same flower twice.

And that is what fascinates me the most. ✨

Every flower has its own character.
Every bouquet is created only once.
Each one becomes unique, unrepeatable and truly one of a kind. 🤍

These are not just cupcakes!

They are little edible flowers, created with countless hours of patience, creativity and love for every tiny detail. 🌸🧁

🌸 And this is how a bouquet created for a wedding comes to life…
Individual flowers, countless tiny details and hours of careful work — all coming together to create one edible, elegant bouquet. 🤍
A bouquet that can replace a traditional wedding cake or become a truly special dessert that guests will remember long after the celebration. 🧁💍🌸

🎂 When the cake designer is my son, I know one thing – he’ll never choose the easiest design! 😄

This time it was Kinder Bueno + Back to the Future. 🚗⚡️

The main feature was a LEGO DeLorean, which I also had to build myself! 😅 The LEGO theme naturally continued into the cake decorations too. 🧱❤️

I always accept a challenge! 💪
I hope I managed to make his 9th birthday cake as special as he imagined. 🎂🥰

🍂 Autumn quietly arrives and, whether we like it or not, the colour palette begins to change — both in nature and in the cake boxes. 🤎

The bright colours of summer slowly give way to warm shades of brown, cream, burgundy and orange. 🎃🧁 Cakes and cupcakes become even cosier, reflecting the warmth and beauty of autumn.

The colours may change, but the desire for a delicious little treat never does. 🍰✨
