We were delighted to host a mental health talk by Mensana at our Castle Street café. 💚

When you support small independent businesses, you’re not just keeping a café open. You’re keeping a space open for the community.

A place where charities and organisations can hold important talks, where elderly people can pop in for a cup of tea and a chat, and where someone might simply need a friendly face and a few kind words.

Big chains have their place, but it’s often the little independent cafés that offer that personal touch. ❤️

When a small café closes, a community loses more than just somewhere to buy coffee.

Today is a very special day for someone who holds a very special place in our hearts! 🥹💗

Aoife has been part of the Sweet Baking Mama family for 4 years, and somewhere along the way, she became so much more than just a member of staff. She’s like another daughter to us. ❤️

We’ve watched her grow over the years, shared so many laughs, and made so many lovely memories together.

Of course, we couldn’t let her 21st go by without making her a special cake! 🎂🌸

Here’s to 21, to making beautiful memories, and to many more years of putting up with us! 😂💕

✨ Wedding delivery complete! ✨

This morning I had the pleasure of delivering and assembling this beautiful three-tier wedding cake at the in Wexford. 🤍💜✨ And I have to admit that this hotel was a pleasure to deliver to! Super organised and friendly staff!

I won’t lie… after this week’s heatwave, I was feeling a little nervous! Wedding cakes and soaring temperatures are never the best combination, and I spent the last few days hoping the weather would cool down just enough for a smooth delivery.

Thankfully, today was much kinder, everything went exactly to plan, and seeing the cake standing perfectly in the reception room made all the stress worthwhile. 💕

Congratulations to the happy couple! Thank you for trusting Sweet Baking Mama to be a small part of your special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness. 🥂💍

We were honoured to open our Castle Street café after the Darkness Into Light walk and donate all proceeds from those early morning hours to Pieta .

Today, we had the pleasure of presenting a donation of €200 to the organiser of the Carlow walk. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a coffee, a treat, or simply to support such an important cause. Your kindness and generosity made this possible.
