Sitting in an area steeped in history, The Three Cups sits on a site said to have been a camp for soldiers waiting to take part in The Battle of Stamford Bridge. Inside our old building is an ancient draw well 23 feet deep, first discovered by the landlord Wilson Lee during building works in the 1960's. Make a day of it

Surrounded by woods and open fields, The Three Cups is a gateway to some wonderful walking. Outside the pub is a footpath running alongside the River Derwent. Inside, there's an ancient draw well around 23ft deep.

We will be hosting a MacMillan Coffee Morning 10am on 1st August 2026! Here’s what to expect:

🍰 The Great Cups Bake Off - show off your baking skills and bring in your favourite cakes, cookies or savoury goods to be judged and be in with a chance of winning a bottle of spritz 🍾

☕️ We will be selling tea, coffee and cakes with the proceeds going to the MacMillan charity. We will also be selling cakes brought in for bake off 🙌

🤔Coffee Morning Quiz - a chance to socialise and have a bit of fun! We will also have board games out to enjoy between sips 😁
