Guests always ask us “is there a walk from the site?” — so we finally stopped pretending we didn’t hear the question and made you a map! 🗺️

This cracking 6km loop takes you through open countryside, along quiet country lanes and a gorgeous bridleway through working farms. Fresh air, actual birdsong, and the kind of scenery that makes you feel smug about leaving the sofa. Oh, and before you even set off — Starbucks is literally a 4-minute walk away. You’re welcome. ☕

And yes — that sneaky dotted line is exactly what you think it is 😏 We’ve officially sanctioned a detour down Sandy Lane to The Fox Inn - Stockton on the Forest. It’s not laziness, it’s route planning. 🍺

Oh, and you’re just a 35-minute walk from breezykneesgardens — which is either a lovely bonus or the perfect cover story for why you need a cake at Breezy Knees Café. We won’t judge either way. ☕🍰

Back at the site and somehow still hungry? Thompson’s Famous Fish & Chips — widely regarded as the best chippy in North Yorkshire — is just a 7-minute walk away. Consider that your post-walk reward sorted. 🐟🍟
