Flourish flourishing despite the drought!

🌿🪴🌺 At the Flourish allotment, much of the activity at present is watering! The lack of rain is taking its toll. There is one stunning corner of the polytunnel, though - pots have been gathered presumably to facilitate easy watering, but together they make a splendid display! 🪴🌺🪴

We appreciate our volunteers at Crossways Community! At the end of this Volunteers week, we now celebrate our volunteers at the The Kitchen Table, our café in Camden Road, pictured here enjoying an evening out together.
Pam, who is a long-term Thursday team member, says, "I love being a volunteer at the Kitchen Table. Very nice managers, Rosie and Lorraine. Customers when I work are nice to talk to. It inspires me to enjoy my life."

Come to the Crossways Community allotment project, Flourish, on 21 May, and see what we do, have a go at planting, buy some little plants!

🪻 A treat for your diary coming up! An open day at our allotment project, Flourish, to find out what we do there, have a look round and maybe find something to take home? If you came last year - there have been lots of changes, and hopefully the weather will be a little warmer than it was then! 🌿🌺🪴
