So good to be back in the game serving customers and making coffee, it has been a huge challenge stepping away from being in the shops to grow the business, it’s without a doubt one of the most challenging things we have ever done, but if we have learned one thing, the challenge remains, it never goes away, so for anyone who is looking to get into business, I have one thing I want to say, keep showing up, for yourself, keep doing the small things, have fun, don’t over work or over think things and whatever you do, don’t take it all to seriously, life is to short!

Our first café in the old high street opened in February 2014, it’s our main home, where it all started & our community started to grow.

We have just refurbished and with fresh new paint, plants & pallet sofas in the new basement, it’s got the vibes.

Our location at The Forum, on the Common was born out of Covid, we could see that there was a need for a place to go, to grab a coffee and see other humans, this time was hard for everyone, and we like to think we helped bring some warmth to the community, a connection that was all together, absent. The coffee shed at the forum provides a welcome mirage whilst on a dog walk, whether you are wandering to work and not having the time to wait in the queue at the High Street café, the same coffee fills your cup, we run a very reduced menu with a few freshly baked parties, pop in and say hi, enjoy the fresh air and sit outside with a coffee or a quick pastry. We are still there, and still love being connected to the awesome Forum!
