This weekend is Cafe Roya’s sweet 16th! We are celebrating with a dish from our first ever menu - Lancashire cheese and spring onion sausages but today we’ve paired them with a saffron garlic mash, charred hispi with miso butter and a rich vegetable gravy

I also had the absolute delight of finally visiting Carolina's TexMex with some of the old work girls…. It was worth the wait! 😋🤤

Me and chef Brett got to see the matinee performance of silence of the lambs Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall Nottingham which was such a treat…

And of course…..there was cake! 🍰 Thank you to every single person that’s walked through our doors and kept us going. We love you 🥰

I had so much fun teaching my Persian cookery class yesterday! Thank you to all the attendee’s - you were such a great group! We made saffron rice with tahdig, Gormeh Sabzi, beetroot borani, most-o musir, Shirazi salad, fresh barbari breads and more… it was a feast!
