Congratulations C & J! Married today Newstead Abbey !

This lovely cake is a lemon and raspberry cake with lemon flavoured buttercream 😋. As often happens, a batch of gluten free cupcakes were provided in the same flavour. BUT the bride's favourite flavour is carrot so there were a batch of carrot cupcakes provided too! All bases covered 😉

Venue Brinsley Animal Rescue . Maybe good that it was a little cooler today, especially as the whole event was outside. Also, I've never assembled a wedding cake in a cow shed before!

Bottom tier - rose, raspberry and white chocolate, middle tier - carrot and top tier - chocolate and ginger. All coated in white chocolate ganache instead of buttercream. The former stands up so much better in the summer months so is a good option to plump for if you're planning a wedding when it's likely to be very warm.

Yes this could be a little treat for yourself or your loved ones!

I usually coat my cakes in buttercream but white chocolate ganache holds up much better in the heat. So, this little number is ganache coated. A six inch four layer vanilla cake, sandwiched with vanilla buttercream and coated with white chocolate ganache. Serves approximately 20 people.

This was made as a demonstration cake, freshly made yesterday, but it needs a good home! Price is £40. Feel free to dm me if you'd like it. First come, first served and collection is from Mapperley NG3. It will freeze very well if you don't need it just now 🎂

My first geode cake!

Up until a few weeks ago I had no idea what one was until a customer requested one. But with a bit of research this one was up and running. As you can see they're just beautifully coloured sugar crystals, framed with edible gold paint to make the colours really pop. This was also a gluten free cake so beautiful and safe for my customer's daughter!

I'm fully booked next week but open for orders week beginning 17 August so feel free to get in touch if you need a cake for then.

Happy Saturday! This was a cake for one of my lovely regular customers, Jane. A gluten free chocolate cake for a family member's special birthday. My customer is vegan and the birthday girl gluten free so this was the perfect solution!

I'm fully booked for the next two weeks but do get in touch if you want to book in a cake order for Monday 17 August onwards 🎂
