Today was a little pay back into the local community 🥰

I was asked in July to offer a raffle prize for "Tylers Fundraising Day" in August.

They raised over £1000 for their choosen charities E39, 4Louis & Millys Smiles which is a wonderful amount.

Well done to Julie who was the winner of the Chocolate Brownie Box who collected them this morning. Hope you enjoyed sharing them 😊

Sat 29.08 Amber Valley Wines for their monthly orchard market. Free entry so pop along for a coffee, matcha and WINE.

Sun 30.08 Morton Village Hall - Derbyshire the Sitwell Pub opposite has their charity festival all weekend. Again, free entry, coffee, matcha and live bands. We will be open until 7pm.

Mon 31.08 Old Bolsover Town Council Medieval Madness. Free entry… coffee, matcha and jousting!!

🌧️ Sadly, tomorrow’s dog show is CANCELLED 🐾

With the weather being so wet and miserable, it’s just not going to be a good day for our four-legged friends. 😢

BUT… I’ve got a kitchen full of cakes, bakes and bank holiday treats! 🧁🍰💕

🍂 Hello Autumn! 🍐🍁

With the last few weeks of summer upon us and autumn just around the corner, the leaves are already starting to show those gorgeous hints of oranges, reds and browns. 🍂

Autumn is definitely my favourite season — cosy jumpers, candles, chilly evenings and cuddles on the sofa… with the dog, of course! 🐶🧡

And the shops are already getting their autumn stock in, and Tesco hasn’t disappointed this year! 😍

I spotted this adorable pear sugar bowl and just had to have it for the kitchen. 🍐 It fits perfectly with my little pear tree theme and I absolutely love it!

I also picked up a new frame for my 5⭐ Food Hygiene Rating — because if you’re going to display it, it may as well look pretty too! 😄✨

Who else is already getting excited for autumn? 🍁☕🧡

And for anyone super organised - I am taking bookings for 2027, Diary brought and ready to use 🤎
