Cherry & Almond and Plain Scones all baked fresh this morning ready for The Village Bean launch day today.
Can't get fresher then that 🩷

I popped them up and enjoyed a very nice Latte, it was lovely meeting other dog walker and customers sitting in the sunshine.

Will definitely be returning 🩷

The Village Bean Corporate cupcakes.

I was honoured to be asked to make some cupcakes for their very special launch day before they officially open on Tuesday 14th July.

Hope everyone enjoyed a little vanilla cupcake with their drinks from Hilda the Horsebox

We will definitely be popping over next week to enjoy a drink on our dog walk. (This could become a bit of a habit for this coffee fueled baker)😂

IMPORTANT UPDATE....

Cancelled due to the extreme hot weather 🌞🌞

Sorry if you was hoping to grab some weekend treats, but our 4 legged safety always has to come first.
I am now pretty quiet this weekend so if anyone fancies a traybake to enjoy in the sunshine just drop me a message.

I love the summer months, but I'm so glad the temperature has dropped a little this week.

Last week definitely tested me! I was decorating cakes at midnight while the kitchen was still around 30°C, getting up extra early to start orders before it got too hot, and turning the fridge up to maximum just to keep everything at the correct temperature.

Between melting chocolate, buttercream softening far too quickly, and it sticking to soft fondant, it was a stressful few days. But I got every order finished and out on time, and I really did give it my all.

Now it's time to get prepped for another week in the kitchen, hopefully with much more enjoyable working temperatures. 🤞🍰
