Bakers… what would YOU add? 😂👇

7 things I genuinely thought were obvious… apparently, I was wrong 😂

What “things I thought were obvious” have you had to explain to customers? 👇

No judgement, customers… we love you really 🤍😂

Back in the game ⚽️

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how this Arsenal cake started out…

For a sphere cake, I much prefer filling and stacking the cake directly inside the tin rather than attempting to free-style it on a cake board. It gives me far more control over the shape and helps create that lovely, seamless finish. ✨

From humble beginnings to the finished masterpiece… 👀

Good morning, you dangerous disco biscuit. ✨
Friendly reminder: comparison is the thief of joy... so mind your own buttercream. 💅
Some days aren't about feeling motivated—they're about showing up, putting in the work, and getting a little better than yesterday.
Am I the Queen of Lambeth cakes? Absolutely not. Did I still pour my whole heart, soul, and a fair bit of neck pain into this design? You bet I did. Every cake teaches me something new, and that's the whole point.
The funk has arrived... and she's ready to be admired. 💚🩷🪩

I used to be cool. Now I have a favourite spatula that I genuinely can’t live without. 😂

Seriously… you could gift me another one for my birthday and I’d be absolutely thrilled. 🥹🎂

Also… look how silky smooth this SMBC is 😍✨

Adulthood is wild. 😂🍰

Watch until the end for the bedazzle! 🤩✨

I absolutely love baking and decorating cakes, and when I knew I had a detailed lambeth piped design coming up, I made sure to practise first. I wanted to feel completely confident that I could create a real showstopper for someone's special celebration.

These are my two practice cakes. The first one never made it to anyone's celebration because I wasn't happy with the standard. If it doesn't meet my expectations, it doesn't leave my kitchen. The second one was a huge improvement and was gifted to my son's teacher.

They both took time, patience and plenty of practice, but that's all part of creating cakes I'm proud to put my name to.
