First off … don’t worry! Tots Playhouse timings are staying exactly the same as they are! This is just for our baby play room.

Secondly … thank you so much to everyone who reached out to me yesterday. It was so lovely to hear how many of you are excited to visit our new baby room 😍

Session times for Tots Little Lounge:

Starting Friday 16th October, our sessions will run from 10am–11:30am.

Bookings will close at 9am that day. If there are no bookings, the session will not run.

If you do not see the date you are looking for, it will be that we are closed that day.

Just as we did with Tots Playhouse, there are lots of logistics to get right, so we’ll continue to review things and make adjustments where needed.

Our sessions are 90 minutes of dedicated time for you and your little one to slow down, connect and enjoy those precious early months together 🤍

Whether your baby is a newborn or just finding their feet, Tots Little Lounge is about so much more than play. It’s a calm, cosy space where your baby can explore and experience the world at their own pace, enjoy age-appropriate sensory play and begin discovering new things when they’re ready.

It’s also time for you - a chance to meet other parents, share experiences, make new friends and enjoy a hot drink while your little one relaxes and explores.

We know newborns aren’t running around or playing independently, and that’s exactly why we’ve created a space just for them. Those early months are about bonding, gentle stimulation, connection and helping mums feel part of a community.

You’re not just paying for a play session. You’re investing in time together, a welcoming space and a little breathing room in the busy journey of parenthood 🥰

Just as we’ve done with Tots Playhouse, we’re always learning, listening and adapting to find what works best for our customers, our little ones and us as parents.

We’re learning as we go, just like many of you, and we really appreciate every single person who comes through our doors to enjoy Tots Playhouse and Tots Little Lounge. Your support means so much to us, and we’re so grateful for our little community ❤️

We’re so excited to introduce Tots Little Lounge - our brand-new dedicated baby play room for newborns through to toddling tots who are just finding their feet!

A calm, cosy space where your little one can explore, play and make new friends, while you enjoy a hot cuppa from our coffee machine and a little time to chat with other parents.

BEFORE YOU VISIT:

👶 Newborns to Toddling Tots
Tots Little Lounge is designed for babies through to little ones who are just finding their feet. Once your little one is a confident walker, they’re ready for the bigger adventures at Tots Playhouse upstairs.

👟 Shoes & bags
Please leave shoes and bags on the storage shelves provided.

🍓 Snacks
We have a dedicated snack area with a mat and highchairs. Please enjoy food in this area rather than around the play space.

☕️ Drinks
Our coffee machine will be ready to go, with a selection of hot and cold drinks available to purchase. We kindly ask that you don’t bring your own drinks and instead support our little kitchen. We are CARD ONLY.

🚼 Prams
Unfortunately, prams cannot be brought into the Little Lounge. Our entrance is very small and prams would obstruct the fire exit, and we don’t have a safe place to store them inside or outside.

👧 Siblings
The Little Lounge is specifically designed for babies and newly toddling tots, so unfortunately we cannot accommodate older siblings.

You’ll find Tots Little Lounge down the alley between Tots Playhouse and the Family Bakery.
Look out for the green doors with our Little Lounge logo on your right. Head through the doors and down the stairs.

We are so close to opening our Little Lounge baby play area!

Just a few more bits to do behind the scenes but we are hoping to open our bookings up very soon.

This started as just an idea back in February and has taken many months of hard work - physically and mentally - to turn this play area into reality. I just wanted to use post to thank my husband Darren for the many, many weekends he used up to help me create this space. Without him, it would have never happened, neither would Tots!

Most of our customers only ever see me or Jade in the cafe but he makes a huge contribution to the running of our little play cafe and I couldn’t be more grateful 😍.

I will be announcing details of our opening next week … eeeek!! Who’s excited? 🙋🏼‍♀️
