🌟 Introducing the Café Gallery at Harbour House! 🎨

We’re excited to launch our Café Gallery, showcasing local emerging artists on the walls of Harbour House Kitchen.

In partnership with Kingsbridge Community College, Arts University Plymouth, the University of Plymouth, and South Devon College, we’re giving students the chance to exhibit their work in a professional public setting — connecting creativity, community, and hands-on experience.

Our first showcase continues the Sixth Sense exhibition by KCC students and ties in with the opening of Tom Kaniok’s exhibition Mud Makes the Revivalists on Thursday 2 April, 6–8pm. The café will be open after hours to see the student photography, with free light refreshments in both the café and gallery.

Mud Makes the Revivalists explores our relationship with nature, climate, memory, and belonging — and we can’t wait for you to experience it alongside the incredible work of local students.

🌟 The Café Gallery at Harbour House is now open! 🎨

We’re delighted to welcome you to our new Café Gallery, now open and showcasing local emerging artists on the walls of Harbour House Kitchen.

In partnership with Kingsbridge Community College, Arts University Plymouth, the University of Plymouth, and South Devon College, we’re supporting students to exhibit their work in a professional public setting — connecting creativity, community, and hands-on experience.

✨ Exhibiting artists:
Olivia Bigwood
Esme Honeywill
Lola Stotyle
Polly Foster

The works on display were selected by Harbour House Assistant Curator Elaine Sinclair and café owner Helen Grey, who chose six photographs from the main exhibition that felt especially at home in the café. They were drawn to images of urban spaces and everyday life featuring people, reflecting the warm, social atmosphere of the café itself.

☕ Harbour House Kitchen, run by Helen Gray, is a welcoming vegetarian café — perfect for winter days with organic coffee, locally grown herbal teas, and a new seasonal menu of homemade gluten-free pies, creamy gratins, and signature toasties served with probiotic piccalilli.

🕰 Open daily 10am–4pm
Breakfast 10–11:30 | Lunch 12–2 | Tea, coffee & cake all day

This display continues the Sixth Sense exhibition by KCC students alongside Tom Kaniok’s Mud Makes the Revivalists, bringing creativity, nature, and everyday life into conversation.
