London is finding its own pizza identity — and the neighbourhood pub is at its heart. In an article explores how lockdown experiments and small pub kitchens helped create “London-style pizza”: crispy bases, charred crusts and a mix of Neapolitan and New York influences.

Many of the places featured — including
and many more across the country not mentioned however worthy of the praise, including and many more in the north — have been, and continue to be, a huge inspiration to us. It’s exciting to see their creativity and hard work recognised.

What stood out is how practical constraints sparked creativity — and how good food gives people another reason to spend time in their local neighbourhoods. Could pizza become as much a pub staple as the Sunday roast?

BEHIND THE SLICE EPISODE 15. “EASY” It may look easy. Some of our peers etc..make it look so. However, this last year, has certainly come with lots of challenges that we can look back on, ranging from delays with opening, suppliers, staffing, menu changes, water works, soundproofing, business rates, births, deaths and and at lot more behind the scenes! Tangy tomato base with melted Fior di Latte mozzarella, spicy sausage, roasted pepper strips, nduja, chilli, buffalo mozzarella, basil finished with a drizzle of hot honey.
