The Bank Holiday Starts Here!!

As it’s a Bank Holiday we will be open on Monday 31st August with a Brunch Menu available from 9:00am to 3:30pm.

NOW IT’S TIME TO REST 😴

Thank you to all the customers that have visited Mersea Barns this weekend🙏

It’s always a satisfying feeling sitting down at this time on a Sunday evening, possibly with a glass of w**e looking into the glassroom and thinking about the people that have been through the doors; our regulars, visitors, annual holiday friends and our Park Runners and cyclists 🥰 - we always realise how fortunate we are to have such continued support.

This weekend we have also had the privilege of hosting various birthday parties in the glassroom, also a birthday party in the Playbarn and even a surprise party!!

Now we need to recharge ready to re-open on Wednesday.

1st August - what a day!

Normally we would wait for the weekend to finish to say ‘thank you’ BUT… today we are bursting at the seams with ‘thanks’ ❤️

We have had an amazing day - a busy breakfast with our Park Run customers, regulars and visitors to the island, we also had a 21st birthday celebration brunch.

Lunch was equally as busy with our ‘specials’ of dressed Cromer Crab and traditional bread pudding with custard being very popular AND we had another birthday party 🥳🎉

Then to finish off the afternoon we were very privileged to host a 50th Wedding Anniversary afternoon tea for a truly special couple🌸

So ‘thank you’ to everyone that visited today, and we look forward to doing it all again tomorrow😊
