🍻 Cask Ale Week Brewery of the Day – Okell’s Brewery 🍻

Our seventh Brewery of the Day for National Cask Ale Week is Okells Brewery!

ℹ️ For over 175 years, Okell's Brewery has been proudly brewing on the Isle of Man, combining heritage, craftsmanship and a passion for great beer.

What sets them apart is their commitment to the Manx Purity Law, first introduced in 1874, which means their beers are brewed using only malt, hops, yeast and water. It's a tradition they're proud to uphold and one that continues to shape every pint they produce today.

From award-winning cask ales to innovative new brews, everything they create is inspired by the Island they call home. Surrounded by sea and driven by an independent spirit, they brew beers with character, authenticity and a true sense of place.

More than a brewery, they're proud ambassadors for Manx brewing, sharing a little piece of the Isle of Man with every pint poured.

2026 has been a standout year for Okell’s Brewery, combining international recognition with an exciting new launch. Nectar New World IPA and Okell’s Smoked Porter picked up medals at both the International Beer Challenge and World Beer Awards, while Nectar was also named Isle of Man Winner. The year also saw the launch of Snaefell Pilsner, a crisp, premium 5.0% lager brewed with classic Saaz hops. Together, these achievements reflect Okell’s commitment to quality, innovation and more than 175 years of brewing heritage.

🍻 Cask Ale Week Brewery of the Day – Wadworth 🍻

Our sixth Brewery of the Day for National Cask Ale Week is Wadworth.

ℹ️ Wadworth has been brewing beer in the beautiful market town of Devizes, in Wiltshire, since 1875.

Originally founded by Henry Alfred Wadworth, the business passed to his founding partner John Smith Bartholomew and is now in the fifth generation of ownership by the Bartholomew family.

In 2023, the company invested in a new state-of-the-art brewing facility at Folly Road in Devizes where they continue to brew award-winning traditional ales and bold new styles with greater efficiency, consistency and sustainability. The current range consists of Wadworth cask ales, including the iconic and timeless 6X Amber Ale, Folly Road craft beers, and a rotating selection of seasonal brews.

Beyond brewing, Wadworth have an estate of more than 140 pubs across the South and West of England.

Drawing on centuries of tradition while embracing modern technology, real brewing, real pubs and real impact are still at the heart of Wadworth even after 150 years.

Our fifth Brewery of the Day for National Cask Ale Week is Robinsons Brewery.

ℹ️ Based in the heart of Stockport for over 185 years, owning a collection of around 250 pubs, inns and hotels across the North West and North Wales, Robinsons is one of the most respected names in British brewing and innkeeping.

A proud family of independent brewers, Robinsons operate one of the most advanced and sophisticated breweries in the UK having invested £8.4 million into a state-of-the-art brewhouse in 2025.

Home to award-winning beers such as Unicorn, Dizzy Blonde, Helles, Cumbria Way, Iron Maiden’s TROOPER and, of course, their legendary Old Tom, Robinsons continue to fly the flag for British Brewing across the world.

🍻 Cask Ale Week Brewery of the Day – Palmers Brewery 🍻

Our fourth Brewery of the Day for National Cask Ale Week is Palmers Brewery.

ℹ️ Palmers has been owned and run by the same family since 1896, with continued production for over 200 years. That continuity runs through everything we make. It is there in ales still brewed by hand on the same Bridport site, in brewers and staff who have given much of their working lives to the place, and in a steady insistence on doing things properly rather than quickly.

Family, heritage and quality are what shape the beer, and the beer is what brings it all together.

In celebration of and in conjunction with Cask Ale Week, they have launched their latest seasonal ale 'Old Tractor' which can be found in many of their pubs already. 'Old Tractor' is a dark, complex ale, brewed with purely British ingredients in support of the farming industry. As always, 10p from every pint of their seasonal will go to the Palmers Brewery Community Fund, supporting local not-for-profits to achieve their goals.
